Skiing and snowboarding are exciting winter sports that many people enjoy. As an artist, I often go to the mountains where these activities happen. I enjoy skiing, but I also go to the mountains to practice drawing. Sometimes I draw people skiing or snowboarding.

I enjoy finding art in normal moments. I like seeing actors skiing down the mountain quickly and families talking about where to eat. I try to use my pencil and paint to make a painting that shows how it feels to be on the mountain. Usually artists only show the exciting moments, but I work in a different way.

I also show the moments that people often don’t see. I show families waking up to their alarm clocks before a long day of skiing. I show the parents buying soft drinks and pizza in the hall on the mountain. Sometimes I like to paint the wooden buildings in the area.

Before I paint, I must prepare for the day. Packing a backpack for a day of skiing or snowboarding is like preparing for a great adventure. You must bring gloves and scarves because it’s cold and sunglasses to help your eyes. I also bring paint so I can make paintings.

Then I get on my motorcycle and ride to the mountain. Sometimes I go hiking and other times I go to the hotel. The engine makes a beautiful sound in nature. I enjoy the cold air and stop at gas stations and tire shops when I need to. Then I enjoy skiing and painting.
