Yesterday, Mr. Johnson, the teacher, gave the last test of the year. It was a difficult test and had questions about many subjects. The students thought that many questions were hard. The test had questions about every lesson from the year. Some questions were from August and the students did not remember those lessons.
After the test, Mr. Johnson got the papers from the students and told them that he would read them all. He looked at each student’s test and he saw a problem with one of the questions. In the lesson, he told the students something that was wrong and now the test was wrong too.
Mr. Johnson was a great teacher and he told the students that the question was wrong. He changed the question and helped the students. All the students did well. It is not easy to say when you are wrong. Mr. Johnson did a good thing.
At the bottom part of the test paper, he wrote a note about the problem with the test. It was a good lesson for the students. Teachers are sometimes wrong. It is important for us to tell people when we are wrong. Then we can help them and change what we did.
At the end of the day Mr. Johnson said sorry to the students. It was the last day of school and he said, “Happy New Year.” The students said, “Happy New year.” “See you later.” “Goodbye.” Then the students went home and watched television and met with friends.
